Fuji ii as definitive restoration???

Does anyone know if resin modified glass ionomer is considered a temp restoration by WREB.

I have found an ideal lesion that's opposing a tooth with a Fuji II restoration. According to WREB guidelines the restoration may not be opposing a temp restoration, but there is no defination of temp restoration in the candidate guide.

According to GC recommendations, Fuji could be used as definitive restoration. They recommend Fujii IX for class II restorations.

Clinically, I don't think you could differentiate between fuji II or IX.
So, I'd asume they can't reject a lesion because the oposing tooth has a Fuji restoration.

Any comments would be appreciated.

why not just be safe and bring the patient in and re-do the restoration with composite/amalgam? you dont want to be guessing/worrying about whether your lesion is going to get accepted. leave no doubt

wait what if it's root caries, wouldn't a GI be an indicated restoration?
