or go to the derm board. have you seen derm residents and dermatologists. theyre super high maintenance and probably really bad in bed but theyre pretty to look at.

I would argue that "consensual non-monogamy" isnt really a lifestyle that is at all edgy anymore and certainly outside of marriage isnt even interesting enough to warrant a social science term now. If you are only recently engaging the singles scene after a long term relationship, then maybe this is shock: but the ENTIRE modern dating scene is consensually non-monogamous as a result of 3rd wave feminism.
Basically if I understand what you are saying: you have a girlfriend who you have regular consensual sex with, but would also like to have sex with other people as well. Correct? In essence, you are just talking about dating multiple people. That is the norm where I am. I am good friends with lots of docs who have gotten divorces and either them or their ex-wives did or are currently engaging in multiple people in a sexual context at the same time.
Call it dating around or hook up culture, its basically status quo in California at least.

Hmm, I didnt really dabble in much aside from semi-random casual LA sex. Dont get me wrong I was HAPPY as a pig in cozy crap ridden mud to get that, I just wasnt operating at a level to get even more kinky like lifestyle stuff. I remember hooking up with a model from West LA and then going to church for the first time in years because I was so thankful for that.
The lifestyle stuff always seemed like a multi-millionaire sort of realm for me, dunno. Tell us how it is though so we can live through you.

I had heard an internet rumor of these guys who literally just troll the scene looking for dudes who want to be "****ed". I had no idea this was not just urban legend until I interacted with a guy at a conference furiously setting up "dates" with women who husbands had signed off on the extra martial encounter.
I ended up following him around for a day, taking notes for a possible book. It was fascinating as hell. I want to write THE great American novel after some more research. My working theory is that in the really liberal progressive urban areas, males have lost so much agency to 3rd wave feminism that they dont even have sex with their own spouses.

This was at a pathology conference? Was he an obvious stud? Or was he just a "10" compared to most of us pathologists?
He was not associated with the conference I was there for but apparently the conference scene is fertile ground for this **** subculture, like Will Ferell's character in Wedding Crashers trolling the funeral scene.
Hell yes everyday (in my mind). Still working up the nerve. If/when I do, I will join a local organization that a buddy referred me too. To join though, you have to send a pic of yourself and your woman. That's freaking me out a bit although it is an understandable and appreciated requirement.
