When I list my future coursework on AMCAS, will I be "mandated" to take those classes? I registered my schedule for next semester based on the classes that I was able to get into at the time, because not all the classes I want were open in my school. If they open, I will be changing my schedule and therefore, my current schedule may not reflect my final schedule when Fall begins.

When listing my future coursework on AMCAS, will I be forced to take what I list? My guess is "no", but I just want to confirm.

I also registered for 17 credits at the moment, but this is in flux as well, because I could end up taking anywhere from 12-14 credits if I drop a class before the semester begins. If I list 17 credits as future coursework even though I could end up taking 12-14 after my schedule is finalized, will any problems arise in the future if I take less than what I list?
