I've actually been toying around with a doppelganger game where every role has an identical counterpart and wolves are RNGd from the various roles, but I haven't spent much time on it.

But I've also been thinking in the back of my head about a poetry game, so we'll see lol.

It would be a very weird poetry game, less oriented toward actual works/authors and more oriented toward using poetry for lots of stylistic flair. I was thinking characters like you'd find in a very old school children's fairy tale, with all of the character descriptions and write ups written in rhyme and riddles. Plus maybe a few posting restrictions, because who can resist those? 😉

Although I have definitely thought about a game where roles are just different poetry styles or different poets. But I don't think I'm literarily equipped enough to run a game like that yet.

I prefer to write free verse poetry with the occasional internal rhymes and slant rhymes, I just think if anyone got a posting restriction wasn't a supremely obvious poem style I would get a lot of regular posts with line breaks in the middle. 😛

That's why I like iambic pentameter. The pacing is so easy with the syllables it's: unstressed, stressed, unstressed, stressed, unstressed, stressed, unstressed, stressed, unstressed, stressed.

I have had some poetry published and I did definitely do NaNoWriMo once where I wrote 50k words of poetry (well I tried lol) but there's no way in hell I'm sharing any of it with English majors.
