Anyone have experience using the Note 10.1 in class? I'm trying to come up with a paperless solution going into M2, and this device seems pretty awesome. It's a full featured tablet with a Wacom stylus and digitizer, making it ideal for writing and taking notes. I also like drawing out diagrams, so I'm hoping I can replace my paper notebooks as well with this. Ideally I can write/highlight on the pdfs/ppts provided for us and organize them in a way to make it easy to review for exams.
One thing I'm wondering though is how easy it is to write small and make precise lines. I've gotten used to writing small with a micro tip pen, so I wouldn't be too keen on using a device where I could only fit 5-6 words on a line. I tried using the iPad in the past, and it's way too clumsy for me to consider it seriously for writing/drawing, not to mention the annoying workarounds that I don't want to deal with.
Alternatively, has anyone tried out the newer Note 8? I'm thinking the 10.1 is a must for classes, but the Note 8 sounds attractive for years 3 and 4.
