I called today to check the status of my application, and the recording says that status checks are only from 2-4 pm EST on Mondays and Wednesdays. So I call back promptly at 2 pm, and there is a recording that says, "The Mt. Sinai school of medicine will be closed from 2 pm wednesday November 24 until 9 am Monday November 29. Please call back then."

i was never able to get intouch with tufts... i called about 5 times and left my phone number... they never confirmed if my rec's were in and now it;s past deadline 😡 😡 😡

Yeah, for a while there I really wanted to go to Yale, but now I am not so sure. I really want to do transplant surgery, and their gen surg residency isn't considered to be that great...

Has anyone heard anything from mssm? I was complete in late August, interviewed in mid-October, and havent heard from them since, the woman at the interview said we would hear from them in 4 to 6 weeks. And, everyone time I call them, they just tell me now decision has been made. Anyone else in the same situation.

I'm in the same boat...I'm just assuming the worst, because I really have no business getting into Mt. Sinai, but I'll give them a call next week and check it out. Good luck!
