I go to school in DC. Take jetBlue from long beach to washington dulles. You can take the washington flyer to the DC Metro, which the goes directly to georgetown. Its also a lot cheaper.
You can fly into Dulles (IAD) or Reagan (DCA)
baltimore (BWI) is a little further north than you'd like.

Before I buy my ticket,
going from SFO to IAD (which is Dulles I think), how easy is it to get to the GW area from the airport? is the metro right there?

*looking*
there is a metro stop right at reagan international airport. foggy bottom/gw is only a few stops awayOriginally posted by medorbust
do you guys know how far the metro station is from regan international? are there free shuttles connecting both?
the tour was the last thing during my interview day last year, and it ended around 3pm last year. you should be able to make it to dulles in enough time if you head out immediately after the interview, and if you're worried about it you can always cut out of the tour a little earlyOriginally posted by DoctorKevin
OK so one more question, if my interview is at 10:15am, can i catch a flight leaving IAD at 5:20pm?
I thought it was one of the most chill interview days i had. they do "blind" interviews there (the interviewers dont look at your application file beforehand) and they were both really conversational and no stress. One is with a student and the other is with a faculty (i had the dean of admissions), and both were really just "getting to know you" interviews 😎Originally posted by nrddct
how was the interview like? was it pretty relaxed? thanks

I apologize if this is a dumb question, but would a cheap hotel like the Allen Lee Hotel have an iron for my suit?
74 bucks is cheap!
