Sorry to hear that. This was my first interview where you only interact with one single person. Definitely makes it high stakes, more stressful, and if you end up with a tough interviewer it's super frustrating

wanted some opinions on this: i scheduled a visit w GW back during my interview date for late this month but since then they withdrew my app and i also got called into work the same day. is it worth still going and calling off work (would it look bad to give them a call and say i can’t attend as i’m assuming they keep track of invites) or is there no difference at this point?

if they withdrew your app then what is the point of going?

thats what i was thinking but idk if it comes across as rude for cancelling last min? i may reapply next year and while i don't think they would remember, i didn't want to risk it, idk i could be thinking too much into it lol. also since i might reapply i thought the information could be helpful? but if it's more for students debating on attending or not i think it'd be weird to attend
 
Any post-ii decisions recently? Also who else is currently waiting and when did you interview? Interviewed 1/16 and waiting

I've been on WL since 10/16 and wanted to give my take on the campus visit day in case anyone was on the fence about going -

Biggest gripe is that we didn't get to tour the campus or school. The day opened with questions for a student panel, and the students were great but I wonder why they started with questions rather than info. After that, there were four info sessions that felt really rushed and left me with questions that we didn't get much time to ask. Ended on financial aid discussions (not much to be said) and that made me feel depresso about how expensive school is.

tldr; Weird set-up, I could've gotten most of the info online, felt like a waste of an afternoon that I took off work for.
 
OOS WL today (alternate pool? i’m guessing is the same as WL). interviewed mid jan.
anyone know what the WL stats are, how often do people actually get off it for GW?

Any idea about submitting LOIs? I'm currently on the WL and did a visit day, and I am starting to think GW would be my top choice. I'm planning to submit an update letter next month, so was thinking it could be a chance to make it an LOI
