How come GWU isn't listed on the AAMC research page for MD/PhD programs? I emailed them with some very specific questions and they just sent me a generic answer back. Is anyone in this program or know anything about it (like who the program director is)?

The entire AAMC Curriculum Directory relies on self-reporting by the schools themselves. Some schools probably aren't as good about updating their info as others. Go here to find the "curriculum contact" (person who is responsible for keeping their schools info up-to-date) for GWU.

btw the AAMC is never a good place to go when looking for detailed questions about individual schools. If you can't find their MD/PhD director via google, then try asking the dude in the above link.

Actually I also had the same question and went down to thier office to ask and get the right answer... you can not apply to GWU for the MD/PhD together, you have to apply to MD and PhD (grad school) seperatly and if you get accepted to both, then they will work with you to tailor an "MD/PhD" track specially for u.... also keep in mind this will not be similar to other schools and u have to pay for your own tuition....I also asked if there are students currently in this program and turns out there has not been any for a long while....
