Hey everybody! I am new to the forums. I just had a quick question. I was accepted to 2 dental school about 2 months ago and I now have a problem. I choose the school I wanted to go to and signed my letter of intent. On the acceptance letter it said that I was "expected" to get at least B's in all my classes. I have done well in the majority of my classes but there is one maybe 2 classes that I might get a C in.. Is this a big problem? Will a school take away my acceptance if I get a C or am I getting worried for nothing? They didn't say I was required to get A's and B's, they just expect me to. And if I do get a C, should I notify the school or just let them see it when I send my transcripts before school starts in August? Thanks for the help!

Who knows... why don't you call them and ask... I assure you, anything you hear from them will be better than what we tell you.

It seems to me you haven't received the C yet... right? If there is room or time to hit the books, its probably right now.

As far as rescinding the offer... I guess they can do that if you break the conditions of the acceptance.

I think you will be alright.. I know a lot of people who got C's after they were accepted and they still got into their school. But I am sure it depends on the school. But the school has already shown that they want you and I don't think getting a C will change their mind. Unless its in a class that is required by them, in that case you might be in trouble.
