I was in a similar position this cycle as well. In my situation, the class was also a non-preq but instead of receiving a D in the course, I late-dropped it and am taking a shortened summer session.

I had a lot of anxiety and stress about whether or not my recent acceptance would get rescinded as well, but I called and talked to the school and it was perfectly fine. They were super chill with it and advise you to do the same as no one on SDN can give you a more accurate answer than the admissions officers at your school. Good luck!
