I am doing a retail rotation and I really like the pharmacy. My preceptor is not the manager though. Just wondering how many others have got jobs from doing a rotation somewhere? Or if they have any advice for me?

I did 2 rotations already this year and did not find them interesting enough to ask for a job (the first was in a rural area, the second was in a ghetto, but this one is in a nice suburban area).

two of our students got jobs with us, and we (interns) have been told we could have jobs upon graduation

so i would say it's at least relatively common, and , if not that, then it does happen

I got two of my jobs from rotations and the other one from where I have been working as an intern.

Every one of these are a chance to get a job. After all, that is what all of this is for. Most important is to find an area of pharmacy that you see yourself working in.

Personally, I like variety. So, I chose to do several PT jobs.
