Getting a letter of recommendation without a personal statement

I won't be applying until next cycle (not this summer), but I am getting my letters now. I do not have a personal statement done, and at this point, I don't think I would really be able to put one together. I feel like I haven't had a significant enough experience/reflection that I could explain that it drove me into medicine. That sounds forced, but looking over my experiences, I don't think I can answer that question completely.

Should I just type up some general list of ideas to give them? I think one asked for a personal statement.

I just gave them my CV and the little questionnaire that my school had me write out about my motivations for being a physician. No one asked for anything other than my CV, but I sent along the other anyway. I think if they don't ask, it won't hurt to not send it. If one did, just write up something quickly with some of your motivations, even if it's two paragraphs. I mean, you want to be a doctor for some reason right? It doesn't have to be mind-blowing or anything, but throw them a bone at least.

Lots of people get LORs before they are ready to apply. I just gave my resume and a short blurb about myself.
