So I'm not sure if y'all have experienced this, but I'm working a full-time job as a teacher right now, and I'm contracted through the 2014-2015 academic year. However, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a PAID job more related to medicine you can get with a bachelors in History (hahhh I know) who's taken some of the prereqs that I could get either in 2015 or 2016 once I've started my med school application cycle.

I know that clinical research assistants don't always need to have a science bachelors degree, but I'm coming up shorthanded for anything else. I can get my volunteer experience over my summers (yay teaching!) but I am hoping theres a paid job I could get so I could quit teaching the year before med school and work more in my prospective field.

I also will have my EMT-B by June so there is the possibility of that, but I'm not sure if they make enough to pay rent.

Thoughts?
