I live on Long Island, and I really want to go to St. John's in Queens. The only thing is that they don't accept transfers for their Pharmacy program, but I am willing to start from square 1.
However, I did apply during my senior year of high school and my application was late, but someone from the admissions office e-mailed me and told me that even if my application was on time, I wouldn't have gotten into the program because it is very selective.
My SAT scores weren't horrible but I'm guessing it was because of my low grades in Chemistry. I have good overall GPA though.
So is there anything I can do to increase my chances of getting into this program, or am I pretty much screwed? I'm working in a Pharmacy now since June/July, so that could be a plus.
Not sure what to do...
