Hello I have some questions reguarding admission into UCONN Med...
what if my gpa isnt that high, around a 3.14 although my MCAT score is a 37 and I have extracurriculars, shadowing, volunteer work, and regular work, along with major leadship activites...what are my chances of getting past the admission commitee for an interview??

are you a CT resident? Because that would help. You could also try the post-bacc program to boost your GPA. Congrats on your MCAT though! :)

if your a CT resident and apply early...you will eaaaasily get an interview.

^^agreed.

If you are from CT you will get a nod with that MCAT. Your GPA is low but other things can make up for it like your MCAT and a good interview, experiences. Good luck

Hey all,

Just wanted to bring this thread back up.

Is UConn friendly to OOS?

Currently working on the AMCAS so I'm trying to decide whether I should apply there or not?

Some stats- 3.64, NY resident, ivy league grad. No MCAT yet (only 4 more days till scores come out) and the usual EC and leadership stuff
