I'm trying to decide whether it's best to submit just my GMAT score (in place of the GRE) or both my GMAT and GRE scores. I'm applying exclusively to programs witha focus on policy/management. My GMAT score is a 720; my GRE score is a 560V, 800Q. Any advice is appreciated!

Hey, dak.

With a GRE of 800Q, it looks like you know your calculusesz...

[...and that's all I have to say about that.]

I guess I just feel like verbal is low...and a pretty large gap between the two scores...

What was your GRE essay score?

Your verbal score is not bad -- and can be further negated [in degrees of importance] via a high scoring AWA.

(...but still, I like your calculuseszzz 123)

I suppose compared to an 800, 560 LOOKS low, but when you look at it's percentile (77th) it's not too shabby.

AWA is 4.0. maybe just stick with GMAT score?

Why not report both? You'd get into just about any MPH program with that GRE score; and your GMAT score would put you in the running for a top-tier MBA program. win win.

Your verbal score may look low compared to an 800 in quant, but its percentile is still pretty high.

thanks for the advice, everyone. so you don't think that with a relatively low verbal and awa i should exclude the score? the thing is, i don't actually need it for any of the schools i'm applying to; all of them take the gmat in place of the gre for the HPM concentrations. i do want to show off a strong quant gre score but don't want it to look bad that verbal/awa are a little lower.
