good molecular biology book?

Hey i'm looking to take the step 1 next year and i was wondering if you know a good Cell and Molecular Biology book/books - i still don't know if they're the same thing or if they go together with biochem or what!

Oh i should explain: I'm an IMG and at my school we did molecular biology as a separate subject so to me it's like a standalone thing...idk if it's like that in the States or not. 🙂 Thanks!!

I hear HY Molecular Biology (1999 edition) is good and succinct for molecular biology. Also, the molecular biology sections for Kaplan are decent.

I was just about to say those exact same 2 sources.

I also bought the newest HY Cell & Mol Bio. It is good, but it's missing a nice chunk of the signal transduction pathways that are nicely explained in the 1999 version. So, the 1999 is better thatn the newest version IMO.
