Good news for people waitlisted at VCU

"The withdrawals from the alternate list were substantial and at this point, all candidates who were notified that they are on the alternate list will remain there. This DOES NOT mean that we are sure we will get to everyone. In fact, there have been no years when everyone on the alternate list was accepted. Very little action will take place over the next month. A large number of withdrawals do occur around May 15th each year. It usually takes us a week or two to process those so we will know a lot more after that time. We wish you well with all your applications."

That sounds awesome, but does that mean that they won't let us know anything else until after May 15th?

I had the same question. But it does sound like we wont hear from them till end of may/early june

Last year's thread showed that some people actually found out in April...you really never know! It all depends on who withdraws. But yes, a lot of people will find out in late may.
