So i know during most interviews they'll ask if you have any questions and its good if you have some prepared. I just cant think of any questions that i cant find the answer to on the website. Also, there's an info session before the interview, so that'll prob answer most questions too. I dont want to ask something that will make them think i didnt do any research. Can anyone think of some good questions to ask the interviewer?

UtterDevotion gave a phenomenal list of questions to ask interviewers, which she posted in another thread. I'll list them here, with props to Utter Devotion:

Come up with questions to ask them....
Faculty:
--How heavy is the coursework? Would I have free time to work and/or volunteer?
--What would you recommend a student to be involved in their first year?
-- Things specific to the school (aka how they grade, classes, etc)
--Why did you decide to be a faculty member here at the University? Do you do any sort of research?

Students:
--Is it difficult to find housing?
--How they enjoyed their experience at school.
--What is something you wish you knew when you were interviewing and/or applying to schools?

From those, you might be able to come up with some others that will apply more specifically to your situation. Also, take a notepad with you in case something that is said triggers a question.

For example, if you're planning to live with the parents while you're in school, you might want to gear questions toward that: does anyone here live with their parents? how's that working out for you? Do you recommend I get out of their house with all its distractions? Or you could possibly address a commute; if you live close by but will still have a commute, what's reasonable?

Good luck!

Don't be like me during one interview by freezing up and not asking any questions after the interview. I did that at Iowa but I guess that wasn't enough to earn a rejection.😉

Other questions I'd ask are:

-How have been your NAPLEX passage rates recently?
-If applicable, how do the alumni here help in post-commencement plans?
-Should a student work at a pharmacy during school? If so, then what is the maximum load one should bear?
-If there's one improvement that I should be looking out for here, what is it?

Wow, eelo find your own username, dont just jack mine.

Good questions to ask:
Why cant eelo think of a unique username?
Why is eelo a *****?
Why does eelo give credit to "UtterDevotion" when she stole her questions, but not to me when she stole my username?

anyhow, i doubt you'll get answers to these questions, I dont think anyone can tell you what's goin on in eelo's very small and limited brain.

Ooooo, aren't you touchy!

Now, this is very simple research, but why don't you try it anyhow? Go check the box under my username to see when I joined, then check the box under your username to see when you joined.

You have no credibility in this matter. But...... everyone knew that. Everyone but you.

What's truly funny, albeit a little bit sad, is how foolish you're making yourself look.

Have a good life.

What are the rotation sites? That was what I asked at the end of the interview. The adcoms seem interested in it.🙄

what does that mean? 😕

During the fourth year of pharmacy school, students go on rotations for a specified period of time. Basically, you are at the workplace for a select number of pharmacy specialties out there. Many schools allow you to go out of city and even out of state for these rotations so it's a pertinent question to ask pharmacy schools where said sites are.

eelo, you're like 50 and you sit around and post on the forums all day. you are not a pharmacist or student, wtf are you doing here. i think it's you who is a little bit sad.

Hey there,
Does anyone have any insight of what to expect at the interview for UOP?? What kind of questions they might ask and how long the writing sample is?? Thank you!!!

You should check the Interview feedback section on SDN. Look at the very top of the page, in the dark blue. The Interview section will be 3rd from left. That will give a wealth of information. find your program and the school.
