Anyone have good ideas for summer jobs (medically related or not)? The last job I had was in a restaurant and I would like to try something else.
Maybe do some clinical research, teaching/tutoring, or maybe be a camp counselor?
I'd want something light and part time.
strippin'
where do you find teach/tutoring jobs if not for a major test prep company, i've been searching.

edit: I'm also going to be continuing volunteer work I'm involved in.
I actually thought about this
GREEEAT IDEAS!
Any suggestions about how to be a camp councelor? I love working with kids! I would love to get a job as a nanny too... The hard part about this is that im trying to get a job where my parents live but i go to school in a different city, and ill be in africa for one month
ps:just kidding about the tripper thing...
Why don't you contact camps in your area? Or look in the newspaper for people that need nannies? Do you have a campus resource center? They probably have info about different summer job options. There isn't really a magic resource that people can point you to for summer job info, you're going to have to do some research for yourself and stop relying on everyone else to figure this out for you.
HAHA you'd actually make BY FAR the most money stripping, so it might not be such a bad idea

and it will look great on your CV, especially if adcoms are like me, and have a complete lack of morals.
i remember reading an EK verbal passage about how prostitutes are the highest paid women.

Now THAT kind of an EC will get you into harvard without even doing an interview. Although, prostitution is quite a jump from stripping, not that stripping is the greatest job ever...
If you like kids, is there a community center or a YMCA in your area? You could potentially get a job at a summer program for kids. I think the Y usually needs swimming instructors, too, but I'm not sure if that would be a paid or volunteer job. Also, if you're going to be in africa for a month, it may be difficult to get a traditional "summer job". Is there a temp agency in the area that you could contact? They may be able to set you up with something (that will probably be crappy, but if you get desperate...)
