3rd year pharm student of UCSF told me that alot of people in her class got in with GPA around 2.8. President of our club got in with GPA lower than 3.0 too. I guess that this school likes those who have a lot of research, not high GPA. Besides, I read somewhere in SDN that many people got accepted in Loma Linda because they are Christian even though the GPA's are low....Please share if you got accepted with low GPA or know someone. Providing the other factors that help to get in is also helpful too.

i got accepted to midwestern in arizona.. and my gpa is pretty low. Science 2.8 and 3.0 cumulative. However, I did manage to pull my grades up later on so that's a positive sign. Plus I have a PCAT of 86% composite and almost 3 yrs in a pharmacy. And the key is that i applied early! I was in one of the first groups to be interviewed and i think that really helped my chances.

hope that helps 👍

i turned my application in during Sept and got an interview in Oct. I think you should turn ur application in Aug/Sept, that should be good enough.

and like all other schools, i think the interview was really important so work on your interview skills... along w/ ur GPA + experience.. the rest is up to luck really. 🙂
