just recieved a fedex from NYU, they have interviews scheduled from 6th jan'2005
have to call them before december 14th for fixing the interview date
I am not sure if i will go there as i have already been accepted at ucsf
so good luck guys who are hoping for NYU

This is pretty shocking.I didnt know that they would send fed ex for interview calls.Now I have to start getting worried if i will or wont get a fed ex package.
NYU is my last hope, so i do wish that i get a fed ex.

i just got courier from ups (not fedex) and it was an interview letter
my score is part 1 -89
i didn't want to create any kind of panic among the sdn people, just wanted to inform you that nyu has started sending interview letters
and i am sure all of you will get a call
common everybody has a place somewhere, there are 125 YES ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE SPOTS in NYU
that is a lot and I am sure they will accomodate most of us
after i recieved the ups courier from nyu, in the next five minutes.I got a FEDEX from UCSF asking me to send the $ 1000 non refundable deposit to confirm my seat
so guys , I am heading to my bank to get a certified check and getting poorer by one thousand dollars . so all you new york hopefuls, I am not competing with you guys and I am sure you all will get a call very soon

i got a interview letter from nyu today that is 8th december 2004
it came by ups courier
the letter says-quote
" thank you for applying for admission to the new york university college of dentistry

the personal interview is a crucial component of the admission process and will be a significant factor in the committees's ultimate decision

i think every1 living out of the country like canada gets the mail frm schools by fedex or ups which is much faster than the regular mail, whras we in the us get it by regular mail 😀

i`m going to BU. i don't know how did i study to earn 95... if i had know the formula, i would be rich man already 🙂 now seriously, i don't know how.. - here you will find people who study 3 months and got 98 points. or people who take this exam for third time, and do not manage to earn something above 90.... just give the best of you, take your time, and with a pice of luck.....

I called today @nyu,I talked to a lady she was not amy,i could`t remember her name,anyway,she told me that 800 applicant applied this year for 110 seats.So it is clear that they offer 110 seats not 120.

All applications are underreview,understandably coz its a huge applicant pool.

Interview will be held from Janauary to april.Those who are waiting for an interview can get a letter from january-april 2005.So Khurram ,If you are reading my post, inference is , its a longe processs to get even letter of invitation for an interview.
There will be 5 weeks orientation in july-august2005, & program will start in september2005.

i haven't started with the loan application now but I am inquiring and shopping around
as far as candadian govt is concerned, I don't think I expect much because they don't give much if you go to non canadian schools
there is royal bank in canada which has a program and give upto 150000 for the program with a canadian citizen co-signer
i have to rely on private loans and I do have a co-signer who is a us citizen ,in fact it is my brother
i will wait for the other documents to arrive from ucsf and than go from there

Actually I was working on Canadian EE ,I am new to NBDE ,getting study material for part 1 ,I got 83 in my first shot ,so I am not even considering NYU would accept me .I have 270toefl 3.50 gpa.NYU was the only university I can apply,so I just applied.I am preparing for NBDE1 in march-april2005.

I am happy to know that you are relieved.As far as I know people with 81 84 ,85, score got in from canada last year.RELAAAAAAAAAAAAAAX MAN Let me tell you another way to relax,if you are in Karachi,go to clifton beach, have a walk on sandy beach.GO to Sader & enjoy BEHARI KABOBS!!!!!!!
