hey.. ur on the right track with asda and decks.. but ur doing urself a major disservice by not studying from first aid nbde... i suggest u get that book and read it 2wice at the minimum.. also, out of all the subjects that kaplan dental series reviews, physiology and biochem are the worst! the biochem in particular will not prepare you for a good score.. i was good in physio, so decks +asda+first aid were enough for that (if its a tough subject for you, than definitely read BRS physiology. it is a great book). biochem, the only book i wish i had read which i think could have helped my score is the usmle step 1 kaplan book. there is alot of information in that book you don't need, but the stuff that corresponds with our test is very well written and will definitely improve your score.
i believe if you take the exam with only reading kaplans biochem/physio review book (dental series) then you will be left fuming at the end of the exam.
the scoring subject is definitely dental anatomy/morpho. i read wheelers 2wice and read okeson tmj first 6 chapters. wheelers is essential, whereas okeson can be skipped. surprisingly, the first aid nbde dental + kaplan dental are both short and sweet review books for this section. it may seem like too little information, but its actually very high yield whatevers written in them.
hope i helped a bit, but if you get nothing from my entire post, i hope you at least do yourself a favor and buy first aid nbde and read through it. you wont be dissappointed with it.
