I was wondering for CA schools and other non-PCAT schools, do they take into account GPA progress? I currenly have a 2.9 ish for this semester but if it were to go up to about a 3.8 next semester, would it matter to the schools, or do they just focus on the pre-req GPA as a whole?

wow thats a big jump from 2.9 to 3.8! How many units have you completed?

i think they look at your cumulative gpa... if they see your 2.9 gpa from whatever semester, they may want to know what happened. how can they see your "gpa progress"? u just send them updated transcripts when u finish the semester. am i right guys?

It depends. Some schools look at your last 45-60 units and see that you have an increasing trend with regards to your GPA and see that as favorable. However, some schools weigh both pre-req & cum GPA as equally important, while others weigh pre-req more and vise versa. It really depends on the COP's policy. you should email or call the specific CA school. hope that helps.

haha. It was a hypothetical question. I'm doing pretty bad in my classes right now with only 14 Units, but its Gen Physics, Gen Chem, Gen Bio, Chem Lab, Physics Lab, English 102. The Bio is auditted. I understand concepts in physics and chem, but im just bad with formulas

next semester, I plan on taking Bio I, Chem II (if I get a B right now), Physics II (B or higher), Econ 200, and two different gen eds.

I finally figured out HOW i should study for my classes, but it's kinda too late considering I have only finals left. So yeah...

How to go from a 2.9 to 3.8 in less than 30 days? ***MAGIC***

(Followed by loud explosion, me flying across the room, and nothing happening to my GPA.)🙄 🙄
