did FIU give you an update?

I had my FIU interview pushed back to this afternoon 12/9. No answer yet. Seemed to go okay. It was only about 45 minutes though.

Acceptance at Southwest Baptist! So a little bit of the pressure is off for the future interviews.

Congrats on Southwest Baptist! Did they notify you of acceptance through e-mail, phone call, or snail mail?

I just have to say, I think it is AWESOME that you are getting such a great response from schools of such a high caliber. Obviously you have taken the time to get some great experience as well as make the effort to retake your pre-req's. Really impressive that school's are now able to look past your overall "stats" and see you as a great, well rounded applicant. Sorry for the random rant!

hey when did hunter contact you about acceptance? are you planning to attend?
I think my situation was a little unusual in that I got the unofficial acceptance call the day after I interviewed (11/26). I think they had been doing "expedited" interviews for 2-3 weeks before Thanksgiving. At the interview I was told I'd hear back in January haha.
I'm still deciding...Hunter is tied for first on my list but I haven't even interviewed anywhere else. I'm taking some time to figure out logistics/cost

PTtoB, I'm definitely leaning towards Miami. I visited both consecutively about a month ago, and while Nova had great facilities, I was thoroughly impressed by my experience at Miami. I think the faculty and student dynamic is fantastic, the curriculum is very well crafted, and the professionalism the school exudes is notable. I had some mixed feelings about Nova, and have heard rumors of the same feeling from students floating around. Ultimately I think it's probably still a pretty solid program. If anyone has insight please feel free to pm me. The main thing I am struggling with is an hour commute w/o traffic and a new baby. Nova is way closer to where I'd be living. I might have to bite the bullet though, plenty of people have long commutes.
