What do you think happened with duke? Your stats are great! I'm surprised you'd get rejected from any schools at all.

I am still waiting to hear back from duke and I was wondering what the interview was like

The interview was very laid back! Only 30 mins. It was more of me asking questions than being asked questions.

I'm not sure! The interview went great, but there were about 30 applicants there total. I have a feeling that it came down to others having higher stats than me. I'm not too disappointed, though, since their tuition projections including living expenses and fees totaled around 160-180 thousand. Way too rich for my blood!

Benefits of Applying for Early Decision
  1. The numbers work in your favor!
    • 77% of early decision applicants have been interviewed.
    • 95% of those interviewed have been accepted.
  2. Less Stress!
    • Early Decision applicants are notified of a decision by mid to late September. Applying early takes the extended wait out of the process.
  3. You Can't Lose!
    • If you are not invited for an Early Decision interview day, your application will be placed back into our general application pool; so you still have an opportunity for acceptance.
~ Please note that if you are offered admissions as an Early Decision applicant, you are obligated to accept the offer and you will not be permitted to apply to additional DPT programs via PTCAS.

This is right from the Duke Website...They receive over 500 regular apps (at least) every year. So basically If you wanna bleed blue you gotta apply early. Over 75% of their class is filled via ED.

Congratulations! How were you notified on your acceptance from Georgia Regents? How long after you interviewed did they notify you?

StefMizu,

You should hear back from GVSU, CMU, and OU shortly after this semester is over. I applied to all three last cycle and was placed on the alternate list at CMU, but didn't get a spot. I found out that last year as a general applicant there were only 10 spots available for CMU after ED and other agreements. So this year applied ED and got in. Not sure about the others. Good Luck!
