I've always been so intimidated by many of the posts on here for the incredible profiles (you guys are all wonderful), but I'm just very happy and grateful to join everyone with an acceptance! Even with a low GPA, there is definitely hope!
When did you hear from Georgia State? I have seen a lot of people talking about their acceptances and interviews from there and I have literally heard nothing. Did you get an email from them saying they received your application or anything like that?
I'm sorry to hear that! I will definitely call them! Thanks for your help! And good luck with your other schools!I received an email back in late November saying they received my application, and then a rejection later in the mail in late December or early January. I was really disappointed, especially since I got an interview last year and not this year. If you haven't heard anything you should probably call.
I spoke to someone from Nova today and she said that "hold" is equivalent to waitlist or alternate status. They won't be reviewing applications for those on hold status for at least another month.I think they're essentially the same thing, no?
Congratulations,UPDATE! ACCEPTANCES!

Impressive! Where are you going to attend?
I have a quick question, can you rescue you seat in more than one school since they give you very limited time to make a decision???
I understand, I just need a bit more time to make the right decision and I thought u could only reserve one seat at a time.Yes you can reserve your seat in more than one school. Make sure to decide quickly and tell the school that you don't want to attend that you want to give up your seat so it can go to someone else!
LOL I wouldn't stand a chance🙂I see @Lots of Praying is attempting to usurp my post-liking crown in this thread...![]()
If it is at all possible for you, schedule a visit to Nova Southeastern. They don't do interviews, but you may be able to make a good impression and get moved up to the front of the wait list line. I took a tour and met with a couple of faculty and I'm convinced that gave me that little bit extra to get accepted. Give them a face and personality to put with the application🙂. Plus it shows that you're the type of person to go that extra mile🙂Gah! Another waitlist... damn, I just need ONE acceptance. That's it!!! Just one and all I'm getting are waitlists and/or rejections.![]()
I told Nova Southeastern about this site. Hopefully schools will at least start to monitor this site. There's a wealth of people on here who would be an asset to a program. This should become common practice. Schools should conduct polls on SDN as part of the acceptance process. 😉
