Jeez does this post feel great to write. After 3 application cylces and a whole lot of stress I got in to one of my top programs. Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't do something because YOU CAN. I faced so much adversity during my road to become a PT. My stats aren't the best but I retook classes, had awesome LORs, lots of observation hours, extra currics, and a good essay. My GRE is horrendous but I am an awful test taker and proud that I even took it. I applied to schools that looked at the applicant holistically. This really helped me because despite my low stats everything else helped me get in. Gahhhhh I am so excited to start in July! I wish everyone the best this application cycle! Congrats to those who are accepted. Good luck to those still waiting. If you have to reapply just know- it is not the end of the world. It is still possible, you may need a little polishing but thats okay no one ever said anything worth having is easy. If anyone ever needs advice etc feel free to PM me or email me. Also check out my blog : dptknow.tumblr.com . I have posted advice on there since I have been through this process quite a few times! Lastly thanks for the amazing support SDN community ! Without you all I would never have stayed sane, you're all the bomb!!!!!
