Out of curiosity! What program are you enrolled in?Hey I am a current OTD student but I went through the application process last year while finishing up my Masters of Public Health. If you have any questions, then I may be able to help!

I'm a Pitt studentOut of curiosity! What program are you enrolled in?
I was just wondering how much do they take into consideration that you already have your masters? I had a considerable low GPA as an undergrad but I will be finishing up my masters in May. Also, did you get into most of the schools you applied to?Hey I am a current OTD student but I went through the application process last year while finishing up my Masters of Public Health. I am so sorry I am just now seeing this. Mine was a video essay. I had the opportunity to edit it and then I was required to post on youtube (as unlisted). They asked some pretty tough questions, but I had time to develop my responses before I answered. Best of luck to you as I know Boston University is a top school!!I have a video interview with Boston University this week, and I'm nervous because I have no idea what they are like! What was yours like? Your stats look great, and congrats on getting your GRE up so much! That's incredible!
Did you apply to the OTD program in Tampa or MOT?Anyone heard back from Nova...? I feel like I’m not going to hear anything today... Good luck to everyone!
Has anyone heard from Usciences yet in the last few weeks? I know they're backed up on apps but the wait is killing me
What was St. Augustine's interview like if you don't mind sharing?Hi All! I've been watching this thread for awhile and now I'm excited to post my stats! I am the perfect example of how GPA/GRE SCORES ARE NOT EVERYTHING!

This past year I've been working full time and finishing my last couple prerequisites (physio, physics, and developmental psych) as a full time student as well and I've never been more stressed lol but it's paid off!
To be honest, my stats are not impressive AT ALL and I did not I think I would even get interviews let alone get accepted anywhere this cycle. I even planned to retake the GRE thinking I would not get accepted. But I worked really hard on my personal statement and I killed my interviews because I knew I looked mediocre on paper. Again, YOUR STATS DO NOT DEFINE YOU AND NUMBERS ARE NOT EVERYTHING!
The interview was really casual! I liked it because even though it was a group interview, it was very intimate, in a professor's office, and it just felt like we were having a conversation. It really felt more like a discussion than an interview and I often agreed a lot with my peers and didn't feel like I was competing against them. What was St. Augustine's interview like if you don't mind sharing?
Congrats! Do you mind sharing your stats? I’m still waiting to hear back from them! 😕I got into Pitt!!!!

Hey! I interviewed with Brenau for their Norcross hybrid program on November 13th (not sure when interviews started) but they told us we should know by Christmas or at least the new year. I have a friend that interviewed with them before I did and already got accepted. So we'll see.Anyone heard from Brenau? It has been like 8 weeks since my interview... or anyone have any advice on if I should call or not?
Thank you!! Yes we did, it was from "gpaadmissions" so be on the lookout for that. If you didn't receive one, then it doesn't mean you didn't get in. It might just mean they are waiting until the next interview session to admit the next group of kids. Good luck!Congrats! Did you guys get emails?

Any feedback or recommendations are greatly appreciated. What I lack in GPA and no GRE, I hope I compensate with in shadowing hours. Thanks in advance!
I just graduated from SRU this past May in healthcare administration! After experience in the healthcare field and observing the benefits of OT on my family members with Parkinsons disease I decided to pursue this path. I went back this fall to talk to the director and I agree it sounds like it is going to be awesome! I am so excited to hopefully return to SRU 🙂Hey! I am currently a senior at Slippery Rock and their OTD program looks like it's going to be awesome! I don't think you have much to worry about regarding your stats 🙂 I was also wondering about how long it takes to hear back form Chatham. My applications got verified on August 23rd. Good luck !!!

UPDATE!Hi everyone!
I'm currently in the process of applying to Occupational Therapy schools! I submitted my OTCAS application to Chatham, Slippery Rock, Shenandoah, Walsh and Ohio State! My OTCAS was verified a few weeks ago. I received an email from Chatham saying they are reviewing my application. I am also applying to Pitt, Gannon, Thomas Jefferson, and Virginia Commonwealth. I will be sending in Pitt's application soon for early admission.
Does anyone know how long it'll take to hear back from Chatham about an interview?
And can anyone give me some idea of the chance I have for getting in to any school?
Graduated from Duquesne University this past May with a degree in Psychology
Taking pre-requisites right now at community college. Got an A in A&P 1 and 2 this summer.
