Grade Discrepancy on App

Is there another section of AMCAS where you can discuss grade discrepancies besides the PS? Although still in the works, I feel like putting that in my PS would make it seem obvious that I just put it in there to do it, and it has no real place. Also, is it necessary to explain discrepancies if its bad first 2 years(2.9) then massive upward trend (3.7) last two years? Or are some of these scenarios self explanatory? To be honest idk how to even explain it besides that I realized I had to stop messing around and decided to actually study I guess.

There's tons of space to put that stuff in secondary essays. Almost every school will have a box where you can explain academic troubles

Your personal statement is for you to sell yourself to the schools you are applying to. You want to convince them that you can walk on water. Take it another way: it's sort of like starting a relationship. You don't want to tell someone all of your faults when you first meet them. You want them to see all of your positives. Over time, they'll learn about some of your negatives.
