My classes end sometime mid-december. If I get an acceptance letter on Dec 2nd, what grades do I need to get in those classes to keep my acceptance status? I've heard C before but I'm just confirming. I just want to know if getting an A is absolutely crucial.

Thanks.

You confirm by asking those individual schools, not by asking on a forum.

"Hi! Dr. Adams in admissions please....Hello sir, my name is Allen Itchybalm and I was wondering...exactly how little work can I get away with this semester?"

👍 Which is exactly why I asked on this forum

I did a bit of searching afterwards and it turns out each school is different. I'm not in any danger of receiving bad grades...I just wanted to know just in case.

Just don't screw up because, at least in my mind, your acceptance can get revoked any time up until classes start. 😛

It really will depend on the school. Having said that, I think the consensus on SDN is that generally B's are fine, but C's are where things start to get iffy. This information comes from what I have read here, as I don't speak for a dental school. 😛

I may have read somewhere on SDN that at least one school has a policy that the person should perform "at the same level" as they did previously, but I don't want to look for it and it's pretty vague anyway.

Try "Hi, what are the agreements regarding grades post-acceptance for matriculation into your school?".
