I am in my last undergraduate semester. I am a slacker because I know I've been accpeted. I don't have the same incentive as before to get good grades. Whenever something comes up, I go for it because I know I won't be able to party in med school. I know a final transcript has to be sent, so what if this final transcript shows a significant drop in grades, can the school reconsider your acceptance? How much precedence do the final undergraduate grades have?
Its a legitimate concern, but right now I have to go goof-off.

The agreement letter you sign says that you're in so long as you graduate. It says nothing about what grades you obtain.

Wish I could party with you.

I had 2 C's and 2 W's in the last 2 semesters (fall and summer) after getting my acceptance letter. I remember thinking the same thing as well, but once you're in, you're in. Just make sure you graduate.

Congrats and enjoy your summer!

YEAP, Once you are in that's it. Unless you go and rob a 7-11 store. Anyways Party all you can cos I wish I had done that.

Congrats

WOW!!! I was accepted in December 2000 and had one more semester of organic to take (an maybe something else). My acceptance letter said they could reconsider if my grades dropped. They dropped, but only to B's....

Peace~
