Grammar Mistake on Yale application

So, I was just reading over my Yale secondary application that I submitted last week and I noticed a huge mistake. I say "the research opportunities and the curriculum seems like", when I should have used the plural! I've made two people read it, but they did not notice it. Will this seriously hurt me??? 😕

huh? whees the mistake.. im not even seeing it! ahaha im sure you are fine. although if i made that mistake id be wetting my pants (cause im also a neurotic premed), in essence, they spend what 8-10 minutes on your app? i dont think they have time to do a grammar check. as long as your overall message is good, you are golden. 👍

oh yea and thats why i never read my stuff after i submit it. only adds stress that propogates to the next secondary 😉

They look at the whole applicant, not just the miniscule grammar mistake, which will likely go unnoticed.

They actually have a grammatical bot that screens all applications for misspellings, subject/verb agreement, etc., and it automatically discards the secondaries with mistakes. Sorry. 🙁 can you cancel the check before they cash it?

That is an unremarkable mistake, and it's not worth agonizing yourself over it.

What they will do is cut and paste your essay into Microsoft Word, and if they see any green squiggles of death, you'll get a thin envelope in March.

Dude, I found out that I unintentionally misused a word on a secondary of mine. But there is no sense worrying about it since there really nothing we can do now.
