Is it just me or is it normal to receive little to no grants in your financial aid packages...i mean, c'mon, with a price tag over $50,000 you would think Gtown would give me a little break but alas, mostly all in loans...anyone get into Gtown and have similar financial aid packages??

Wake was mostly all loans for me as well. I was HOPING for some grants, but alas! Three cheers for basically paying a mortgage once I get outta there. 🙄 😱

well, at least at my interview day I thought they made it abundantly clear they didnt have much of an endowment for giving out financial aid. They were the only school I saw that mentioned turning in a credit report to their office when filling out fin aid forms.

While G-town is a very good school, as you go farther up the "rankings" ladder for private schools, I found it can generally be said more money=better fin aid packaging, as far as grants and susidized loans go.

Looks like we are in the same boat...something like 52-11...41,000 in loans...Oh well, it appears that specializing will be the best option for da Chron.
