I am practicing questions for my interview. What do you guys think they are looking for when they ask this question? I was thinking along the lines of medication cost skyrocketing due to small changes in order to keep a patent. What do you think?

make it all about the patient (not customer) whatever you decide your biggest concern is....

i.e. making sure the increasing population of fixed income patients will be able to afford their medications and trying to find programs to help thm.

This is a hot topic issue. Yesterday, my pharmacy dispensed 5 pills of Temodar, an oral chemotherapy drug. The retail price for the prescription was $2100. Without insurance coverage, that pricing's literally murderous.

i have to second this sentiment. u should mention the importance in making pharmaceuticals accessible to all patients who need them, particularly the uninsured. I worked at a free clinic, and heard stories of elderly/low income patients who bought their medicine with grocery money. Every pharmaceutical company has a program for low income individuals..no ones knows much about these, referrals to these programs and advocacy to make universal health care/prescription drug support for those who don't have money should be a main issue. Health care is a right, not a privilege
