I was initially attracted to medicine by the show Grey's Anatomy. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me if the show Grey's Anatomy matches the reality of medicine. I know they have a medical consultant on the show

You watch a lot of TV, OP.

I thought this was a open forum to discuss the pressing issues in premed. I was wondering if I could also discuss the the extracurricular side of medicine because all of the statistical analysis is getting boring.

Yeah, if you wanna talk about TV medicine, go to the Lounge or read TV guide.

Wait OP. Are you the real Craig Ferguson? There is some other guy on here named Craig Ferguson and he was fake.

Wow, do you like work for abc or something?
The moment you set foot in this forum you begin asking away all these questions about TV shows..

But anyway, I think Grey's anatomy uses medicine just as a background, and it's really about just the drama/sex etc of the main characters.

Medically speaking I believe House is the most accurate (like the medical facts etc), while the actual hospital/medical/residency environment is most well depicted in Scrubs.

Well played, OP.

I am the president of the new Premed Club at my lower tier ivy league school. Our club focuses more on fellowship and doing fun stuff instead of competing against each other.

At least you can put that down as leadership. :p

The reason for towels being white in real hospitals is different from towels on Grey's Anatomy.

Wait. You go to school and you do late night? Is there anything you can't do Craig Ferguson?

I go to school in hanover, new hampshire. How would I be able to do a show in los angeles, california.
