So I know this is a unusual question but I'm curious. Apparently, Western Michigan University Medical School students got to perform autopsies on victims of Jason Dalton, as explained in the comments of this video(). Someone said the coronor was probably overloaded, so they had students do it instead (under supervision). Do medical students ever perform autopsies in Gross Anatomy (outside of special cases like this)?
