84 is right on the cusp. Re taking or not is up to you. If retaking you have to act on it yesterday.

thanx dentousa..gpa is 3.18 .pg degree nt graded but included in ece as a academic achievement.4 yr teaching expr(ug&pg)..2-3 reseach studies ...national level presentations..toeffel yet 2 gv..

Look around BU acceptance threads. I am not sure as to what they do.
If you are hell bent on getting into BU, maybe retaking is the way to go.

OTOH you *may have better chances w/ CA schools with current scores.
Again look at acceptance threads for a better idea.

Your score is ok but your resume is very strong..
You have Clinical,PG, research, teaching, presentations what else to ask for.....
Try adding on it some US clinical experience or/and get some good US reccomendation letters.......
I interviewed at 3 places with a score of 83 no PG, GPA of 3.9 pusuing MS in US and good recco from dentist......Not interviewed in NYU and Boston as they see scores strictly(thats what I heard). You can also go for Part 2 and open doors for Loma Linda and New Jersey that will also add up.
Try UPENN and California schools. Also look for San Antonio....

i know of ppl getting admission with 85-86, but they had citizenship...that is also one more factor to look into..
either crack part 2 or better option take part 1 again

If I were you I would apply with my current score, because a lot of schools start their application process during these coming months, and at the same time prepare to retake part 1 at least by mid July. So if you get an interview call from these schools....GREAT. If not, you have by then already retaken part1 with a better score (hopefully) and have time to apply to BU and Colorado.

P.S people with 84 in part1 got accepted into NYU this year.
