😕 Hi Friends,
This is a question for all the people whose spouses are software engineers.Could you ask them and tell me whether a degree certificate is required for the H1 visa or a provisional is sufficient.
And what about the B1 visa or the business Visa.
Thanks a lot
take care

hi pinktooth,
as far as i know, you require an offer letter from an employer or a company who is ready to sponsor your h1,like for the medicos, some of them do come on h1 visa b'coz they can show acceptance letter from the hospitals where they will be working.what i'm trying to say is that you need to have some kind of salary(for tax purposes) and an employer ready to sponsor your h1,unless you talking about after getting dds degree and working here,....u could definitely talk to a good immigration lawyer or request your sister to do that for u.....they r the best people to guide you...

Hi Folks,
I guess I was unclear in my last post.
This is a question regarding a friend of mine whose a software engineer and planning to get an H1 Visa from his companyThe only problem is that he doesn't have his original degree certificate.
Could all you helpful dental friends who have their spouses come in as software eng on H1 ask them and tell me.
Thanks a lot

hi pinktooth,
u do require your original degree certificate to process your h1,but your friend can talk to the company to see if he can use a photocopy instead....otherwise try to request his university to give him a new one(just send in a letter explaining he's lost his original and is ready to pay for the new one) it's always better to have your degree certificate with u,u never know when you need it.....hope this helps...
