After a crazy cycle of waitlists and late interviews I am lucky enough to be offered to acceptances at Hackensack meridian SOM and Frank h netter MD SOM. I see pros and cons to both schools and am struggling to decide. I’m from NYC so both schools are relatively close to me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would go with Quinnipiac. More established at this point although both are fairly new. Hackensack probably has better hospitals though. If you’re interested something less competitive, I believe that hackensack has an accelerated option so you could save some tuition.

Yea I’m leaning towards quinnipiac as well. I like that it is a smaller class size with a stronger sense of community and more mentorship for students. I’m also worried about hackensacks condensed curriculum given how stressful med school already is. The only pro I can really see for Hackensack is that it’s part of a larger healthcare network but I’m not sure how much of a difference that makes
