I was wondering about this too, I couldn't find anything about this specifically, but the pessimist in me is guessing they won't let you do it until the academic update window after you've actually completed the course.


In an unrelated question, is AACOMAS going to calculate pre-req GPAs based on the courses we are selecting for each program?

For extracurriculars, do they only want you to list things involving some organization? You have to list an organization (it's a mandatory field) so I guess they're not interested otherwise, like if you have some unaffiliated pastime?

Can Letters of evaluation be submitted later in the application? I'm starting the AACOMAS application sometime this week or weekend and I plan to get a DO letter by July and two professors I have asked told me that they can get the letter done by mid June at the latest.

Is anyone else feeling overwhelmed? I'm studying for the new MCAT and recently, one of our instructors a few nights ago kept mentioning that if we haven't started our apps yet, we really should. Someone in the class stated they applied DO in December and still got interviews. I have seen people with my numbers have gotten interviews then too (in terms of cGPA/sGPA) and getting in but I really don't want to submit the application any later than July if possible. I would love to have it submitted in early June to mid June.

I'm still unsure about applying to MD schools with my low stats (~3.45/~3.15/MCAT in July). sGPA for DO schools is higher, it's around 3.35.
