I don't know about everyone else, but I am extremely stressed over handling both. Clearly getting interviews and going to them are great. But if they cause us to fall behind in our work and to do poorly, wouldn't that be bad since we have to show senior year grades at the end? How is everyone handling both? I am very concerned about my grades at this point and am thinking about not going to some interviews so I don't miss out on too many classes. Even missing out on one or two classes each week is really keeping me behind since the material keeps building up.

You cannot go to med school without the interview. You can do decently in a class with a few missed attendances. Study on the plane. Not too much of a decision here.

Try studying with a friend who takes the same course so you can get a quick review.

Missing interviews to go to classes is a terrible mistake that you should not even thinking of doing. Go to all your interviews and aim for Bs in your classes. I know alot of people on SDN think Bs are the devil, but a few Bs will not end your life. I am sure that if you were able to do well enough on the mcat to have such a vast number of interviews, you can manage missing a few classes.

all the best of luck,
dave

actually this is what ended up happening to me, especially since all of my interviews were pretty much scheduled at midterm/final time. i guess all i can say is build up a grade buffer so you can afford to slip a little (and i do mean a little).
