Has anyone had any issues with holding letter of recs in interfolio for a year?

I'm not sure if I am going to apply this year because of the push back on MCAT dates. Would there be any issues in having my recommenders submit through Interfolio and holding it there for a year if I end up applying next cycle?

No, that is what the service is for. Some schools prefer recent letters but I haven't seen it be a problem for letters ~1 year old.

Nope I had letter writer move to a remote area abroad with no internet so I got the letter before they left which was like 18 months or so. No problems at all and schools didn't mind that it was older.
