Hi again!
I read that heart failure results in Hypoxia due to decreases blood flow in peripheral vessels.

I don't understand the sentence above, could someone explain it for me simply as I'm new to physiology and Google searches are complex.

I think your sentence is missing a word.

Just think about it, your heart pumps oxygen rich blood coming from the lungs to the rest of the body. If the heart can't pump this oxygen rich blood to the periphery (the rest of the body), there will be hypoxia (deprived of oxygen supply at the tissue level).
