Hello,
I am in need of help! I will be presenting at a medical conference soon. I will be part of a panel presenting " How to be a well rounded candidate." I need some short and important points to touch upon. I have a good amount of info. but I would like to mention some very important things, and am having a little trouble deciding what to say. Please give me some ideas I can perhaps expand upon.
Thank You

I think the focus should be on encouraging students to pursue their true passions- things they'd do even if they didn't have to...if you follow your heart and interests (that are unique to you, because there's only one you- cliche but true!), you'll be well-rounded. schools can see through the fake stuff.

You're giving an inspirational talk about nothing concrete and you need inspiration? 🙄

something along those lines. However I would much rather have realistic, an idea of what perhaps can be done in order to be a competitive applicant, something such as shadowing, or finding the right education counselor that can help a student achieve his/ her goals
