I don't know if anyone can give me any advice or any leads. I am off by a semster. I am matching for June/July, but I just graduated and have a couple months where nothing is happening. I don't have financial aid anymore because I am no longer a student. I need to find a job, but I am having difficulty. I found something that is min wage, but I am having trouble making ends meet. I am on the job hunt, monster ect., but I am getting the run around. I live in chicago. Got any advice or leads?

Substitute teaching and waitressing are two decent jobs to hold you over.

how do you go about getting a job as a sub teacher, with no teaching qualifications????

Substitutes just need a college degree in anything. Since you have an MD, I'm assuming you have a BA/BS in something. Just go to the local HS or Board of Education Office and ask about substitute opportunities.

But I agree with the other poster - waitressing is a good way to get money!

try a temp agency. they usually seem to have something. of course, as previously stated, waitressing will work.
try human resources at your local hospital. lots of tech jobs. some hospitals will even let you do phlebotomy.
and...there's always starbucks!! 🙂
