Which physics course should I take. Physics for biological science or General physics?

I am Canadian; I want to get into a DO program in the USA. I have contacted some schools
-Western/Comp and they say it is fine

however how will other schools view taking physics for biological science opposed to general physics?

In the US, "General Physics" is often synonymous with "Physics for Bio.." I'm guessing that at your uni GP is actually physics for Science/engineering (Calc-based). If so, just take the non-calc version as long as it includes labs.
