Mayo rejection today. Called WasU and was told that I was rejected by them too. . Still waiting to hear from NYU, UMich, Chicago programs, UPitt, UMN and some other places.

i have not heard anything for weeks. called mayo-jacksonville. they just came out w/ list and was told that everyone would hear within a few days...this waiting is agonizing!

LoL, awesome.. apparently for at least most of this week when someone called my home it was giving them the message machine for someone totally different... screw up from the phone company.. hrmm.. would u guys stress and contact programs thinking someone may have intended to give u a phone invite? I'd presume they'd realize my name wasn't on the recording and try to contact me via email... grrrrrreat.

Henry Ford,Beaumont Hospital,UTMB.

I'm posting this question in two places:

I'm trying to put my match list together for Internal Medicine. And I'm thinking how much will going to a nonprestigious medicine program hurt me if I want to get into top onc fellowships...Does anyone have a list of where current Sloan and other really competitive places fellows did their residencies? Is it all Harvard and Hopkins or do the best people come from various universities?

Any help will be so appreciated. The deadline for submitting a rank list is fast approaching and I really don't know what to do.

just back from my IV at seattle. Did Ok, Research mandatory and superlative. Great weather. Fantastic city...checked my email and there it was ...invited for an interview . Am writting from my wireless pocket PC and all i can say that Im thrilled. Got 2 rejects yesterday from UCLA-SFV and Loyola
