But having some accounts in Maine, I got to spend some time hanging around small harbors around coast of Maine... I think commercial lobster finshery sounds intriguing... I think I'll open a Lobster Pound/Pharmacy combo and sell a whole lotta steamed lobsters and lobster rolls!! 👍 And Pepcid AC.

Maybe this is a stupid thing to say, but is this really news? We already learned it can ppt as a calcium-ceftriaxone complex and cause biliary sludging and hyperbilirubinemia in neonates, and not to use it in infants <1 month old.

Yeah - its news because we do use it in neonates. The news is the "window" of 48 hours. Now this complicates a hyperalimentated baby who has been given ceftriaxone.....just more clear clarification - which will result in clear reasoning for any procedural or policy changes.

Isn't it the coast of Maine where the distraught females in romance novels throw themselves off a cliff.....perhaps I'm thinking of Dover...who knows????😛

Are you referring to ceftriaxone, the coast of Maine, ghosts or distraught females?😕

As for ceftriaxone, I saw that....I'm not (thankfully) in a pedi hospital - so its really an ER issue before transfer down the road 10 miles to a pedi & thats only when the pedi ER is full & diverts. So, altho its a concern - its only for those folks who do drips, tpn & ceftriaxone in neonates....We still give 'em a first dose😳

If its the coast of Maine - its a place I want to go, but have never been - so I'm envious. But - keep posting - it just makes me hate you more 'cause your job takes you to these places. But, when I see the businessmen in airports - I'm not at all envious.

If its ghosts - I luv 'em! But, I gotta look harder for the one in this picture - so yeah - keep posting!

But - if its about distraught females in romance novels - yeah - I've read 'em.....I need to get a new one. That's always a good summertime thing when I can't go places like you!:meanie:

I took Mrs. Z with me on an 8 day excursion through Maine, NH, VT, and Canada. We had a great time. I did visit 4 hospitals...and had meetings.

I've gotten used to the airport and flights. I realized I can read a Grisham novel in one flight..and go through some Sudoku if I feel motivated enough.

I'm home next 2 weeks...then head out to Joisey for 3 days.

I'll be back in New England 2 to 3 more times this year. Love the area...couldn't live there during winter.

The ghost in the picture is a flare...😀

You don't really hate me do ya? I do sometimes wish I was back in a hospital as a DOP..but when I meet with DOPs now...I realize the reasons why I left.

Nah! But really - Maine, NH, VT & Canada - please!!!! Just think of the poor guy who is doing New Mexico, Utah, AZ in the summer. You have got one sweet deal!

So - its nearly the third week of July. Originally you were going to Yosemite on vacation ...then, you were dropping the kids off with the Gparents....what now???? Hopefully something really, really fun & not at all related to pharmacy (other than a bit of ETOH at appropriate times & in sufficient quantities with an SO - Sarah!).

I don't believe the ghost is a flare. Its a distraught female (perhaps one of your previous employees😛) or one of your Lovenox sales reps😀!

Now...who's going to be hating life traveling through New England in the middle of winter??

Gparents are at my house..had the kids for the past 2 weeks. Had to cancel the Tuolumne trip...but birthday party this weekend for the girlie...she'll be 8. I'll be smoking a large brisket for friends...and kids will go swimming.

I have 3 friend's families visiting in August....2 families are coming from the Bay Area... Antioch...and San Jose....one from Denver. So, still a busy summer ahead.

Right now...Levaquin reps are jumping off bridges in my life.

Well - happy birthday to Little Miss Sux! Has Baby Sux learned to swim yet? Eight is a great age for a little girl - what's the latest in girl gifts???

I wish you could make the Avelox reps go away!!!! I've had a run on that recently - they're pushing hard! We do twice as much Avelox as Levaquin.

btw....did you see azithromycin has replaced ciprofloxacin as the doc for traveler's diarrhea?:laugh:
